His seemimgly overnight success gives hope to alot of folks think about breaking into the buisness. The Desormeaux's obivously were some good people to start out with...I think the world of Kent. Good luck and continued success, what an amazing story.

Tim has a good head on him, and that is going to help Summer Bird in the long run. Good luck to him in the Gold Cup and the Classic!

Just watching him "graze" Summer Bird - well, hold the leadshank as Summer Bird stares with fascination at his surroundings for unbelievably long amounts of time - is proof of that love.

I hope he continues to have success for many, many years to come.

And how classy is Mr Ice for saying that Rachel IS HOY?? You'll get no argument from me on THAT! Both these Birds are good for racing and I LOVE the fact that Summer Bird will be back next year as a stallion. Good for the owners and the trainer and VERY good for racing. And let's not forget how good all this is for Birdstone......... sounds like plusses all the way around.

Thanks to Mr Ice for doing this interview; he's a real breath of fresh air.

Cheers and safe trips.

He's not going away. Another red colt--like Curlin--is staying for another year. Also, I think it's safe to say, Rachel has taken over the world.
