Very intellegent discussion. When I first started out I was a good capper but it was Steve's book that helped with the money management end of it. Having the horses is one thing but betting them properly when the opportunity comes around is the real key.

Steve D.'s betting thoroughbreds was my favorite book when I started handicapping in the early 80's. His insights are always enticing for discussion.

His work in Betting T was even more fundamentally rich than my other favorites like Beyer's Winning Horseplayer. As a young horse needs to be broke correctly, and build strong bones, Davidowitz definitely broke me in correctly in the art of handicapping. I guess some can say that it's Steve's fault I am in the game, and they are right.

As far best horses we have ever seen, i wonder what Steve would say if asked "who is the best animal you ever saw?"

I truly enjoyed this comprehensive discussion. Steve can speak on every player's level and on any aspect of handicapping. I've loved his books and have learned to be a confident handicapper based on all his insights. Horse racing is lucky to have such a devoted professional.

Great show, Steve's expertise and easy way of delivering complicated information always enlightens me. He holds his own points of view, he is thoroughly studied on the subjects, and I like the common sense he uses, like the points about the giveaways at the track. Interview went beautifully, thank you. Do it again?

Great job. I really love to listen to guys like davidowitz and crist talk horse racing. These are intellectuals who understand the nuances of handicapping and the enjoyment and excitement that horse racing provides. Most people these days do not have thier patience. Everyone today wants the quick thrill, and that is bad for horseracing.
