His little Ferrari. She was all of that on the racetrack.

She was something to see on the track and I always looked for her.

What a great little gal. I'm glad the Jacksons down here in Florida have her. They treat their horses well.

Saw her daughter Littlegreatone run in her first race. She got a third. Showed loads of promise.

Wonder how that Dynaformer colt will do. Will be on the lookout for that boy in a couple of years.

as far as i know, mega denotes a very large quantity and hertz is one letter away from the german word for heart.

i remember her when she ran and i am sure that i saw her run in person also, but i never realized that she was such a little horse. she looks as if she doesn't even break 15 hands.

i watched the two races on this blog site and i was greatly impressed by this little dynamo.

her performance in the yellow ribbon was especially impressive when she split horses and went through a hole that would intimidate many horses. she acted like it was business as usual and when she cleared, she found that gear and took off.

this kind of story is what makes horse racing so great and exciting. there is always a story that tells of the tenacity and heart of the thoroughbred from the trials of nureyev to the brilliance of a horse like forego who had major infirmities to the story of john henry who languished on the dirt to become a great grass champion.

i have never laid claim to any human athlete as my idol, but i idolize all of these animals from the cheapest claimer to secretariat. god bless them all.

I am so glad to hear that the Jackson's have her knowing she will be well taken care of. I waited all day Sunday to see Causeitehertz only to have him scratched by the vet. Do you know why? and when he will race again?

She was such a joy to watch run, reminded me of a little Jack Russell. Such a little thing with an enormus will to win. I didn't know the Jacksons owned her, that's great because they are such nice people and that little mare deserves the best. Let's face it, she earned it.
