Loved the historical references. I grew up near you in VA (now live and work in MD) and had never heard of the Bladensburg Races. LOL - I probably couldn&#39;t find Bladensburg on a map, but I appreciate learning something new every day! Nobody ever talks about 1812 but so much of our history (anthem, presidents) come from that era.
