So no those that love this beautiful Champion Mare will not be turning our backs on her. If anything, we will love her more and will await her return to super form. But if she doesn't get her old form back, don't care. My love and admiration do not depend upon her winning all the time. It's her I love - not her record.

Check the Beyers buddy, Rags Beyers were consistently higher than the low to mid 100's RA puts up. Furthermore Rags proved she could go 1 1/4, RA can't go that far and win.

Most of the quietness is due to the owner. People do not like him. You could never believe what he said.

Just in the last month, Asmussen & Jackson started being more up front about her condition and the mistakes they have made. They admitted the Woodward took a lot out of her and that they tried to rush her training and bring her back too soon. They went weeks without saying anything about her. It would have been nice for the fans to know what was going on with her. They were concerned for her and if they had been honest and handled it right, they could have encouraged fans to root for her recovery.

While she is showing improvement, no one knows if she will return to her former self. No happy thoughts there.

Frankly it makes me angry to think about what Jackson & Asmussen have done to her, so I really don't feel like cheering right now. I love the horse and hope the very best for her but you can't expect people to go around talking her up given the current circumstances. Any conversation about RA includes

Jackson, Asmussen and what they did to this champion filly and those are sad thoughts. Don't blame the public for being fickle! That's not it at all.

Give me a break draynay. Rags only started once after the Belmont and finished second by more then Rachel did in her two races combined.

I have been the number one fan of RA and outspokenly so for some time now. At this time I can finally admit she is not Zenyatta and never will be. RA will always be one of my favorites for the incredible year she had in 2009. I have to be honest and admit though that part of that success is now clear to me to have been less than true G1 caliber horses she met. RA is no Zenyatta and she is no Ruffian. Heck she's no Lady's Secret, Rags To Riches, and many more. She gave us a great run and will win again but she's just not the super horse I thought she was.

I'm obviously writing my comments after the La Troienne and the Kentucky Derby.

All I can say is this: I want what is best for RACHEL ALEXANDRA. I hope she is happy. I hope she is 100% healthy in body and mind.

We love you RACHEL, please "tell" your connections what you truly want.

I love ZENYATTA, too. You don't have to meet each other to prove who you really are - both of you are shining stars!! Bless both of you.
