I can't figure out why they even entered her in the Beulah race.

She was not a late entry to the catalog (Hip 1400). What was the point in entering her at Beulah?

Curious minds.

It is not long now before Nicanor takes that first step but whatever happens on Saturday, as long as he returns safely, and please God he does, then all is not lost.. Many horses improve greatly for a race!

We are so thrilled Nicanor is going to race. To make it to the track is amazing. If he finishes last we will all show up for his next race. The finish position doesn't matter. His health and happiness does.

When the sport stops focusing on only a few who race for far too short a time they will finally get it.
