Clearly I missed a few, I really meant to get Beethoven in there, he currently falls under "Not Sure About". But speaking of silly names, my inner 12 year old really wants Parade Clown to win... dude, that would be so funny!

I will say this is a deep and talented three year old crop with very few injuries so far. I still like Chocolate Candy to win the Derby in a shade over 2 minutes and two seconds. Beethoven to finish second and Friesan Fire to finish third. Papa Clem for fourth. I see the KY Derby with ver fast fractions under 47 for the first half. You have a cute article. Enjoyed reading this.

That's why I hope Rachel Alexandra and Stardom Bound DO NOT go in the Kentucky Derby. If either one or both of them takes on colts later in the year, that would be terrific. But not in the Derby. The image of Eight Belles last year is just too distressing.

I am partial to gray but I do like the old reliable at my age so I have to take Friesan Fire as my date, my back up date in case he can't make it will be his sidekick Old Fashioned (who is super cute) but might run out of steam and I think JoJo will be in for 3rd. Alot could change as there are a couple of big races this coming weekend but these are my guys
