As a matter of fact I had asked a friend to put $5.00 across the board on him for Preakness....after the race she called and said " I hope you are not mad but I didnt think he had a shot so I did'nt place the bet". I really do not understand why this horse did'nt get more respect. Oh and just to let everyone know Magic is alive and well in a new career as a riding horse. :)

You could just see the special bond between the 2 of them. I always wondered what became of him after the WNV, sad that he never made it back to racing which he really seemed to enjoy. I'm sure that if he still belongs to Nancy (and I'd bet that he does) that his retirement is a happy one.

Wonderful story with a wonderful ending. His trainer Ms Alberts love of him and to bring him back one more time was a heartful story. The bond between the two after his retirement truly up lifting for the industry there should be more happy endings as Magic Meisner retirement.
