Goldikova will soon be arriving at Churchill Downs to defend her crown in the TVG Mile Division. She will be shooting for her fourth Mile victory, which would set the bar to an almost unreachable level. Bred and owned by Gerard and Alain Wertheimer and trained by Freddy Head, Goldikova has won 17 of 26 starts and $6,978,551, finishing worse than third once. I know everyone headed to Churchill Downs next weekend is looking forward to seeing the superstar run and according to Head, she is doing better than ever.
