Thanks for the comments. Antley taking care of Charismatic at the Belmont was an incredibly emotional moment.

The Oaks was a fantastic finish as the two fillies dueled at the finish.

Constantly changing weather here on Derby day. Like Super Saver and Lookin At Lucky. Always would love to see a filly win. Happy Derby day!

. Wonderful pictures ! I remember quite well the 1997 Derby, I followed a horse since his maiden race at Gulfstream , He even had his own column in the racing form called " Pulpit Watch ". He was a gorgeous colt with a great Claiborne pedigree to match ! I remember watching him in the Fla. Derby getting beat for the first time by a horse named Captain Bodgit ,I was very dissapointed but , I knew he could redeem himself ! The Blue Grass Stakes , he looked like the racehorse he was ! Then came Derby Day ! I remember he came from post # 7 , he tried his best ! I think S Sellers did the best he could,considering the colt sustained a carrer ending injury ! I knew he would be a successful Stallion and he certainly has ! Good Luck to his son Ice Box ,and may everyone have a safe and happy Derby Day !!

My heart broke when Charismatic broke down in the Belmont - God Bless Chris Antley for saving the horse from any more harm, May he Rest in Peace. 2006 - It's all Barbaro!!!! Whoever wins Derby 136 CONGRATS, but a safe trip for all.

Wonderful photos! Great pictures of many of my favorite horses, such as Silver Charm, Real Quiet, Monarchos...

My Saturday picks are the filly Devil May Care, and Mission Impazible.

And of course Blind Luck on Oaks day. :)
