I have always been a fan of Street Sense. I just can see that he is a not only fast but he has a calm air about him.It's such a same he isn't reconized. I hope some of his babies will do as good as him.

Brings back great memories. I was cheering for Pioneer of the Nile and didn't even see Mine That Bird. In the meantime, the cute little horse from New Mexico was riding the rail leaving everyone behind like they were standing still. What a trip! And something I remember about Big Brown always brings a smile to my face. He stopped on his way to the track to pose for pictures. He was just so full of himself. It was like .. feast your eyes folks .. not only am I gorgeous but I'm your next KD winner... To this day, Big Brown is one of my great equine loves. The KD is always a lot of fun with beautiful and talented animals all in the same place at the same time and going for the biggest prize in racing.

^^Wow...it's all my Kentucky Derby since I only started to watch in 2004 with Smarty Jones....

Will always remember Barbaros win, "And it's all Barbaro!" was the call. How sad we never saw His true potential. Perhaps though, he brought us all together in the fight against Laminitis and HORSE Slaughter. It was such a tribute to have last years trainer place the roses on Barbaros statue, mayber a trend will start and this years winning trainer will do the same. May all 20 have a safe trip.
