1	Mucho Macho Man	Big colt seems to have the right grinding style for 12 furlongs, as he just keeps coming and never gets tired in his races; Longshot can rebound after throwing a shoe in Preakness.
2	Animal Kingdom	Validated his Derby win with a good runner-up in Preakness; His current form and stamina-laden female family combine to make him the horse to beat in the Belmont.
3	Alternation	Peter Pan winner comes in fresh and is bred best of all to handle 12 furlongs; He's the top new shooter off of that big recent win over the track.
4	Brilliant Speed	Another developing colt that is bred to excel at classic distances; Comes in off a sneaky-good performance in the Derby, but he's one that will be reliant on pace to run his best.
5	Nehro	Skipped the Preakness for this and figures to battle Animal Kingdom for favoritism, which likely makes him an underlay considering he only owns a maiden win to date.
6	Shackleford	Preakness winner has continued to improve into a top 3-year-old, and he should find an even softer pace in the Belmont; But can he handle 12 furlongs?
7	Master of Hounds	Ran well enough in the Derby to ship back over for another shot; Distance likely suits, as these connections win more 12-furlong stakes than most others around the world.
8	Stay Thirsty	Based at Belmont Park and has the pedigree on paper to handle the distance; Could get a piece of this at a big price, especially if the light bulb turns on.
9	Awesome Patriot	Longshot figures to contest the early pace with Shackleford; Baffert says he can run all day, but his class is a big question mark.
10	Santiva	Quality colt usually runs his race and owns one of the highest Tomlinson distance figures among these Belmont contenders; Comes in fresh after skipping the Preakness.
