We've had really good horses as long as I can remember.
Because the connections of Tomcito feel neccessary given their horse a foundation by means of brezing him couple of mile works doesn't mean they are trying to hurt the horse. Tomcito is trained by Dante Zanelli who is the nephew of Tomcito's trainer in Peru (Juan Suarez). Mr Suarez happens to be the 4th leading trainer by wins in the world with more than 6,000 victories. Zanelli and Suarez are working together in bringing Tomcito up to racing level. I'm sure Mr. Suarez knows what he has to do to get their horse ready. I think the only barrier will be the class: Do they belong in the Classics with a $7,500 horse or not?

re: Q & A With Carl Nafzger

Mr. Nic Servis,

I don't know who Collier Mathes is, but I saw couple of consigment from Chesapeake in the last couple of sales and I was very impress. They were very professional in every aspect and a good friend tells me that Mr. Nardiello is a hands-on owner. Obviously doing a good job if he is raising triple crown prospects. Anyhow I don't think a farm manager is the sole responsible for the success of a farm... There has to be a nutrition program, pasture management, good workers, etc.

re: Q & A With Carl Nafzger

It's always great to see the real NICE guys come out on top.
