My own opinion is the race came too early for him after the King Edward at Royal Ascot. In anycase it's a fairytale story to improve from handicapping company to win a group two and finish fourth in a group one. He is an improving sort and I don't think we have heard the last of this horse.

progressed leaps and bounds to win

a group two race at Royal Ascot, the

King Edward V11 Stakes.This victory

will surely put an end to his hanicapping days and we can only look forward to how much this son of Dubwai will improve before the end of the season.

The winner of the race, Workforce, his dam,Soviet Moon is by Sadler's Wells and he certainly looks to have a bright future. So it's safe to say another great son of Northern Dancer has done his part.

Newmarket and should go on to win races. Also on Thursday afternoon another son of Dubawi,Monterosso

won his third race in a row at the

Northern English track Ripon.It was

his first race on turf and it will be interesting to see what his connections are going to do with him now.

The Sadler,s Wells colt Bullet Train had his first race as a 3 year old at Newbury on Friday and finshed second. He had the lead with 100 yards to go but as this was his first start of the season and only

his second lifetime he deserves another chance.

and from that same crop Squall will

have his first race Thursday at Newmarket in the Wood Dittion Stakes. It is for unraced 3 year olds so we will see if he can show any promise.

The Sadler,s Wells cross is prominent here and as his long distinguished career as a sire is

winding down his promising 2 year old winner from last year Bullet Train will make his first start at

3 in the 3.15 at Newbury on Friday.

Hopefully he can win something of importance this year to put icing on the cake for his sire.
