Statistics reveal that 47% of Australian bred horses this season have Danehill in their pedigree. But they keep winning so why wouldn't you breed to the major breed shaper seen worldwide ?

Hard to know for sure with the dosage question, as I don't know exactly what BRIS do.

We use the numbers generated by The Jockey Club Information Services and the explanation of these can be found at-

www.equineline.com/dirreffr.cfm

The list of horses used can be found at-

www.equineline.com/dirreffr.cfm

My best guess would be that BRIS is using a slightly different list, and are short a horse in the "Classic" and "Stout" categories.

True Nicks:

Dosage Profile: 5-5-10-2-0

Dosage Index: 2.14

Cen. of Dis: +0.59

Brisnet Report:

Dosage Profile: 5-5-12-4-0

Dosage Index: 1.60

Cen. of Dis: +0.42

Thank You for any clarification you can provide on this.

Update:

From February question:

Ivory Star was bred to Raffie's Majesty on March 11th, and she has since been confirmed in foal on this one cover. If interested I will occasionally update on the foal.

Her Feb. foal, a filly, out of Wheelaway is a beautiful copper colored roan that appears to have inherited her mother's dominating personality. But Ivory's racing story is to long for this, lets just say she is a great deal better then what the record shows.

As always, Thank You in advance for your time and efforts given,

Kevin

Ian's reply: Kevin, congrats on your Wheelaway filly! Regarding your dosage inquiry, it appears that Brisnet may be doubling the dosage points for Rainbow Quest, the broodmare sire of North Light. He is a Classic-Solid chef-de-race, so his points should be divided between both categories. We'll let Brisnet know about the issue. Thanks.
