Congrats to the late sire Maria's Mon on his Derby winner ! Maria's Mon was a refreshing change ,for those who like the Raise A Native line and who are trying to avoid Mr. Prospector , which is hard to do these days ! Forgive me , I also wanted to mention this is his second Derby winner ! Excellent accomplishment for any sire ! I know he's a little off the subject but, AP Indy did nicely in this Derby edition ! Super Saver's damsire is AP Indy ,and Ice Box who finished a gallant second ,his sire "Pulpit" is by AP Indy . I think Ice Box is probably better suited for the Belmont considering he has Belmont winners Tabasco Cat and AP Indy as grandsires !
