I will miss seeing Summer Bird racing since he was a beautiful horse and runner. His pedigree is impecable and he's drop dead gorgeous. All this makes for some talented and beautiful babies. I'm looking forward to seeing them.

How could you go wrong with this pedigree? This is a stallion's pedigree. Also the horse was a better race horse than he got credit for, ran well on dry, slop and polytrack.

If they stand Summer Bird for $20,000 or under his first year, the mares should be of enough quality to get him off to a solid start. He pedigree alone would be enough for me to breed to him.

I have to agree about his pedigree. It is one of the most solid I've seen in a long time and I think he has the potential to be one of those sires, like Dynaformer, whose impact is greater than expected. It is a shame that we'll miss his continued racing career, but his owners are putting his interests first and that is to be commended.
