Roan Inish ran in Ireland as a 2 year old, but came to Canada in the fall to win the Princess Elisabeth Stakes at Woodbine with her Irish jockey David Moran coming over for the ride. The pair were re-united once again for the Woodbine Oaks and the way she was staying on she certainly would not be out of place against the colts in the 10 furlong Queen's Plate on July 4th.

She looks like another decent runner for her sire Elusive Quality.

It was for me. Especially with St. Trinians, who was able to get into a race for females despite being a stallion. Seriously though, that was one indescribable race. She wasn't responding like she usually does until the Saint was REALLY at her flank. Then OH BOY...

It was a huge effort from St Trinians, but even if she were a male, I'm not sure it would've been enough to beat Zenyatta yesterday.

It was never wracking to watch her but once she started catching St. Trinian, I knew she had him. Though St. trinian has an awesome bloodline, he was still no match for the queen.

St. Trinians proved to be a serious rival ! Looking at St. Trinians sire line , I notice that Known Fact seems to be the only son of In Reality that has had any impact on breeding and racing in Europe , especially his son Warning !
