&lt;p&gt;Interestingly, Repent also has a connection to Awesome Gem. &amp;nbsp; As noted, Awesome Gem’s female family produced Louis Quatorze – the sire of Repent. &amp;nbsp; The female families which came together to produce Repent have struck twice this past weekend with these two G1 stakes winners; Gio Ponti and Awesome Gem. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
