Esendereya may not have raced long but in his form you can see he would have been one heck of a competator. sort of reminds me of curlin.look at his form... he is going to sire some beautiful foals.

Arguably the best of his generation, there's no doubt that "Esky" will be a big hit at stud. Although fate dealt a cruel blow to his glorious Triple Crown aspirations, there is every indication based upon the depth of his blue-blooded pedigree (top and bottom) that he may be the one to redeem the Storm Cat line as a Kentucky Derby-winner-producing source. The coming of his progenies will be highly anticipated.

There's a lot we can never know about the potential of this horse. Too bad he didn't race longer, but we do know he had plenty of talent. Also, by all accounts the injury was relatively minor soft tissue rather than skeletal.

I'm sure he'll be able to sire tough horses, especially when mated smartly --with respect to physical, conformation, and pedigree.

With his pedigree and race performance, I don't doubt he will get a top book of mares. I just wonder if they will be fragile or tough. He probably could have been brought back to the races, but with his breeding he is worth more as a stallion. I just don't like the way he went out. I would like to have seen him come back into training and raced more, even if he did not win.
