Forgive me , It's been a long day !

re: TrueNicks for King's Bishop & Travers

Ian , I apologize for my computer ! It started to freeze up so I went ahead and submitted what I had ! Dont worry I'm Almost finished :) I was writing about Trappe Shot's Third Dam ,Lady Be Good ,being the dam of Uncommitted by Buckpasser . Uncommitted's son Wavering Monarch is the sire of Maria's Mon Sire of two Derby winners one of them Super Saver will be in the Travers as well .One last note , Trappe Shot's female family #8 is also loaded with such stars as Ruffian, Raise A Native, Nijinsky ,and Bold Ruler . If Trappe Shot Doesn't win the Travers ,it certainly wouldn't be his pedigrees fault !

I hope to see Trappe Shot win ! I've dug into his pedigree to see if he can go the 1 1/4 miles , I think he can do it ! He's from the classic winning AP Indy line , his sire Tapit by Pulpit is out of the Unbridled mare Tap Your Heels By Nijinsky II . This is where it gets interesting. Nijinsky II is a known stamina influence as well as Unbridled himself a classic winner and winner of the BC Classic. Tapit's third dam Moon Glitter is a full sister to influential sire , Relaunch , the savior of the Man O' War tail male line !Relaunch's grandson Tiznow is also a good source of stamina ! I'ts hard to believe as Relaunch's sire In Reality was pretty much a miler !

On Trappe Shot's female side , there are sources of stamina as well. His third dam Lady Be Good by Better Self , is the dam of Uncommitted by Buckpasser, she being the dam of Wavering Monarch by Majestic Light .

Thanks for catching that. Good luck to Tom Durkin calling those three Afleet Alex colts-- I'll be impressed if he can keep them straight for 10 furlongs.

You have Afleet Again in there twice. I guess we know who you want to win!
