The 2 year old race won by Frankel last year over one mile

at Newmarket was won this year by Harvard n Yale.He had shown promise in his only other start at Newbury on July 15th finishing second over 7 furlongs.Johnny Murtagh came over from Ireland for the mount on the Jeremy Noseda trained

colt and won comfortably as the 8/15 favourite.By the good

Canadian sire Smart Strike out of a El Prado mare called Compete he is owned by the honourable Earle.I.Mack who has

owned some good horses in the past including the 1993 Queen,s Plate winner Peteski.We wish him well with this colt.

Thank-you Alan for being really more than fair about Frankel in his win in the St. James's Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot. The truth of the matter is quite simply he was a young horse who needed more time to show of his best as the Sussex Stakes at Goodwood quite clearly showed. This is a horse that is in a league with the best of them and hopefully he will be kept in training as a four year old so the racing public can see that.

Hi Michelle,

I've seen that sort of head carriage in other Sadler's Wells line horses, and Sadler's Wells himself.

To be fair to Frankel in the St. James's Palace Stakes, Frankel was really set alight with half a mile to run, and there is a stiff climb to the winning post at Ascot (it takes a good horse to break a minute for five furlongs there).

I think there is a good chance that he doesn't want to go too much further than a mile - I'd actually be interested to see him back at six furlongs in the July Cup.

If you go to the top of the page, to the green band underneath the TrueNicks logo, the second heading is "Products." If you click on that, you can order the TrueNicks page for either a Hypothetical Foal, or a Named Foal. For the Hypothetica Foal, enter the sire and dam, and for the Named Foal, obviously you enter the name of the foal.

Is it just me, or did Frankel look like he was running with his head in the air and the jockey wildly out of balance? I have not watched his races before, but shouldn't he be able to get the distance without the kind of problems he looked like he had?

Canford Cliffs * Goldikova * Gio Ponti (?) should be a very good BC mile this year.

regarding a pleasant tap / dixie union mare (eva's way)

how do i find out the success of this nick pattern, since

pleasant tap is deceased i cannot pull him up on the nicking list.
