He reminded me so much of a horse trained in England by Sir Noel Murless called Welsh Pageant who although good enough to finish third in the 1969 2000 Guineas to Right Tack was very much at home at 7 furlongs and even to this day I never forget his devastating turn of foot to win the Hungerford Stakes at Newbury over that distance. Langfuhr went on to do well as a stallion and good luck to his Grand-Daughter Same Cross&lt;/p&gt;
