I could only see one stakes winner by Skip Away out of a Seattle Slew mare (although the only stakes winner out of a Skip Away mare is also by a stallion who has Seattle Slew as his broodmare sire).

If there is a connection, it would probably be that Skip Away is out of a mare by a horse bred on the Nasrullah/Princequillo cross, and that Seattle Slew is bred on an extended version of that cross, and his broodmare sire, Poker, is a reverse.

Hi Shelly,

I see that there are already two stakes winners by Gone West (grandsire of El Corredor) line stallions out of mares by Honour and Glory so there is something to recommend on that front. El Corredor is one of the relatively small group of stallions that have sired grade one winners on dirt, turf and all-weather. We had a very promising maiden special weight winner by him at Churchill on Thanksgiving Day.

A.P. Indy's sons would also be interesting here, giving inbreeding to Weekend Surprise (dam of Summer Squall and A.P. Indy). Somewhat similar to Stevie Wonderboy. Hill n' Dale stand an interesting stallion in Indygo Shiner that would suit your mare well.

Hello , Hill'n'Dale farm had contacted me about my broodmare "Wasted Words" a 2005 filly by Honour and Glory out of Fact of Matter by Summer Squall.I was interested if they would like to do a foal sharing agreememt ? The gentleman told me that they did a nicking between my mare and their stallion El Corredor which resulted in an A++ I haven't made any plans for my mare as of yet,but I was looking for a stallion from the AP Indy line ,since my mare is void of Mr. P and Bold Ruler !
