Hi Bellwether,

I saw Chief's Crown the first time I ever came to the U.S. (for those who don't know, I'm English). Subsequently, in one of his first crops he sired the Brooklyn Handicap (gr. 1) winner Chief Honcho, one of the first good horse that I was involved in planning a mating for.

If I saw a horse that I liked as an individual, and that had a pedigree pattern I like (besides the nick), I'd certainly give it careful consideration, even if the rating wasn't high.

What about line/inbreeding back to the same female family with Pollard's Vision?

I saw a foal in the sale by PV o/o a Ghazi mare from the Chris Evert female line (I believe PV was in the 3rd dam), but it was only a C TrueNick.....just wondering???
