Thanks for the interesting comments. From the mare owner point of the TrueNicks page for the individual stallion with the mare is the best guide (as far as the nicking aspect is concerned), and from this standpoint is the "final answer" at that point in time.

Interesting how Roman Diplomat popped up again. Can't keep that good Hooper blood down!

Perhaps most interesting to me about a Frost Giant/Bella Cherokee mating is the 4x3 cross of Immense and Roman Diplomat. I think you would call those horses close genetic relatives. They are both by Roberto and out of Chieftain mares, and their second dams have sex-balanced duplications of Heliopolis and War Relic, 2x2.

I was pleased to learn that Storm Cat over Yonaguska gets an A+ on the Stallion Affinity Report.

But this poses a bit of a dilemma for the breeder, who, in most cases, would not be in possession of the more detailed Stallion Affinity report. How can we know if the TrueNicks score that we've run on the farm's website is your "final answer?"

By the way, you'll recall that Roman Diplomat was the subject of your post "The Few the Proud" just two weeks ago. His son One Man Army sired the winner of the G1 Malibu. I bet you didn't think you'd be hearing his name again so soon.
