Have you ever thought about going alittle bit further back and researching the effects of the Tom Fool / Turn To cross. I seem to see it very often. Ex. Silver Buck

Solar Halo went on win the Firenze Handicap (G2), and run second in the Ladies Handicap (G1).

Interestingly enough, as you say, the mare threw her best foal (stakes placed Blue Burn), to Cure the Blues, and I have a personal connection to him, as he was standing at Gilltown Stud when I worked for Mr. & Mrs. B. R. Firestone, who then owned the Irish nursery.

Solar Halo never produced a stakes winers, but her daughter, Pretty Keane (by Deputy Minister), is dam of stakes winner Solar Deputy, and granddam of stakes winners Personal Pro and Pretty Suzi.

She broke her maiden at Aqueduct in a Maiden Special Weight on the inner track from an outside slot, coming from last place, with snow in the air. She went on to be stakes placed while I was in the Navy. And I enjoyed following her babies whenever I could the next couple of decades. "Cure the Blues" seemed to be the matchup that played out the most successful babies, I've gotten to see in mostly simulcast situations. The jockey told the assistant to Elliot burch in the winner's circle, that, "She would have stuck her tongue out to win" (Got up by a nose). All heart. No physical problems.
