Your last pedigree talks about a real outcross. I have a couple of mares and after 6 years of in breeeding last year I changed to pursuing the outcross strategy. I put faith in your statistical analysis and rating system because the facts are the facts.

One question, one of my mares is the spitting image of her dam sire. She looks like a Diesis and runs like one. Good on grass, some color, a nice late kick and she is 15.3 a small mare. When i cross my mare's mother with Purim I get an explosive match. Should I be somewhat interested in using Purim [son of Dynaformer] which gets a huge rating. This match will result in a complete outcross. I think sometimes the mare puts more in the offspring than the sire.
