As for the 'Picks' contest, I'm not up for an entire card or two card contest - not the way I play the game. I will be happy to post 3-5 plays on the day or days in question.

I'm disappointed about the post, too. I was going to play Ground Transport and Palace Malice.

There are a couple of other locals, too, Sunbean and Departing. I feel like I've got to throw at least one in.

No way... I'm truly sorry. All this time I've been reading Haskin's blog I thought that was you...as for the breeding, that makes two of us but I'm trying to learn about inbreeding, hence I'm closely watching what KY is posting here...I may have an answer soon but it'll all be a guess on how many crosses there are/were to truly understand it...

Florida Derby : Shanghai Bobby and IMLD on top playing with Orb and AYKM... might throw in Indy's Illusion in there just in case...

Who do you like in the LA and Florida ?

I'm not a huge fan of Revolutionary. She's not me. That's why I have been using my last name for over a year. He might be in my picks though; haven't decided yet. Again, she's not me, but I saw that JPM(Just Plain Mary) does like Hear The Ghost, too. Jay Jay, when have I ever gone on about breeding? I don't, because I don't know enough about that subject where race horses are concerned.

Mary : I'm totally bummed out that Ground Transport got the 13th hole in the LA but I'll still use him on top. I do like Code West in here. I know you're a huge fan of Revolutionary but I'm not sure about him. First time on a new track with 14 horses... I don't know.

I'm going to play Code West with Mylute and Palace Malice and Proud Strike. I'm sure I'll probably use Revolutionary but not on top. I'm sure you'll put a lot of money on him. Good luck !!

I scored on that Dancer horse as well, put 200 WPS on him... I just had to bet it when I saw Phil posted him and he won. Now I'm rich ! Have to go and check out how my seahorses are doing, I'm anxious to get them running... or is it swimming.. who cares, they're going to win .. WATCH AND LEARN!

I've found quite a few, KY. Some are more subtle, like Caracortado's dam. Some are famous, like Rock Hard Ten, the daily ten, etc.

mary.....my favorite one that got by the jc.....was a horse......Dumbs hit......no lie.....then there was Dick......no lie....but the funniest thing was the fact he won by a head.....you cant make that stuff up............

saw a funny thing today....at the track, they have a board with the big winning tickets on it......saw a pic 4 or 5...50cent....600 dollar ticket! what an idiot! but he got just over even money...it paid 1300.......

noticed plods winner when i got home....mentioned it because exact same thing happened other day.......ok.....i will say i lost every race today at the track...... i want credit for all of those.......it was a fun fun day......horse worked again........you dont wanna know.....4 more for a 6 shooter.....

Once again, the "expert" refuses to pick the prep races, he posts a winning pick copying PBP. This guy is a joke...serious...

Watch, after the prep races this weekend, he'll go on his rant of how he knows the horses and that the fields are weak and that the winner is a bad horse and that he knew what was going to happen yada yada yada...what a clown. It's like the same thing every weekend...can't pick a winner and then goes on like he knows something.

Then...after he "breaks down" the races, he'll go back to Coldfacts lol... or talk about his imaginary horses...whatever this guy is taking, IT is potent...
