Should have mentioned it earlier, but brain was still stuck over the Atlantic. Martin Pedroza, who is a journeyman at the one-milers, has been the master of Pomona for many years. David Flores, I believe, beat him out a year or two ago, but Martin always rides more than his share of winners there. Martin Garcia cut his teeth at Hastings in Vancouver, which is also a 5f track. Agapito Delgadillo regularly rides at the 5f Los Alomitos track, TB and QH races.

Just checked the standings. Yup, Martin is leading again, and the kid Martin Garcia is 2/2. Too late to be much good for you, I fear. Couple of youngsters, Quinonez (tilde over the first n) and Maldonado making some noise.
