Daughter Jessica and I had a great time, Phil. Changed some of my picks to early speed types. Had Jessie take ticket photos as evidence. Marathon winner, of course Blueskies, too, and exacta; Juvenile winner--went with "the other Baffert" and exacta--used the NY and other Cali speed/best; had faith in The Doll, a few others such as undercard and Sunday tickets. Had Goldencents besides others in the Dirt Mile, but not much on him. But, no profit. Too tempting to bet every race. Glad I was right there to see Royal Delta in the paddock even though she didn't win this race. I wouldn't have missed seeing her. We did miss seeing the Juvenile fillies race. Daughter had to buy flats after we were in heels on Friday. I tell her no shopping, but she always must do some. One of the best parts, as it was last year, was visiting The Big Guy's sweeties in their Hollywood Park Barn. The groom let us in with Hear The Ghost. Wouldn't have wanted to do that with Sermon or certainly not Fury. He is huge. Then, met up with The Big Guy after SA r2 on Sunday. Stayed up to the feature. Too much liquor--not good for breakfast. We were exhausted for days after returning home.

P.S., Jessie was late to the paddock party, but her date gave her the box of mini cupcakes. We'll be out next year. Might make the Cash Call trip, just to say a final farewell to Hollywood Park. Two Big Guy babies in that, hopefully.

Nothing to offer in the HolPrevu, but will contribute the 2 Fantastic Miss (3-1) in the 4th. She was up against a Speed favoring Flow down the hill when claimed out of her last.

Inconsistency of stewards drives me nuts. Race 6 at Churchill I miss out on the tri when they don't take the 2 down (from 3d). My 10 was tired and being passed, but no doubt there was interference.
