If you mean the future wager that in past years had betting pools 1,2 and 3,no I am not aware that it was expanded.

I believe if you bet in the all others pool on Nov 27-30 that it will be the favorite out of the 24 betting selections.A better idea would be to use all others in exacta boxes or wheels and begin to cover multiple combinations with a very good possibility you could have bets on 12 to 15 of the horses that make the gate for the KD in the exacta pool.

If you bet all others in the win pool you are getting multiple horses but as the favorite.Using all others in the exacta pool can produce very good payouts and you can cover multiple combinations at a relatively low price because in every subsequent pool you use horses that you already have bet on with the ones that are being added in each pool.

This colt is by an unraced mare won his MSW debut in 1:09 plus without leaving first gear. When an unraced mare produces a colt with this type of ability, chances are it could be either another Curlin or Invasor.

Pablo Del Monte – ( Giants Causeway by One Hot Dish – Bring The Heat)

This colt is by a lightly raced mare won his debut and subsequently allowance race in excellent times without leaving first gear. When Giants Causeway sired a talented chestnut with this type of ability, chances are it could be another First Samurai or Eskendereya.

The big question is - will they be able to make the transition synthetic to dirt? The surface at CD is known to favor turf/synthetic types.

I assume there will be a wagering option listed as ‘Other’ and it will certainly get my money as the above two colts are exceptional.

Belmont R5 - The Vigro Libra

10 Balderdash (12-1) recorded a 'Neutral or Better Win' for us in breaking his maiden following an upgraded effort on Sept 20. This one is headed for a big race really soon and finds himself a field loaded with speed.

I am in agreement when the Euro horseman comment on the American horses that they have strong pedigrees but weak bones.Anyone here can argue the use of the word bones but for me that is the reason why horses nowadays dont run as often as yesteryear,so I look at days between races very closely especially close in some races over others.A sprint is an anorexic activity so I dont care so much for sprints.But for filles I definitely do and for stakes races I surely do because the difference between winning and losing is the circumstances involved which could be considered another word for handicapping.

5 Blessed One (8-1) turns back to 7f following a solid pace pressing effort going 9f on the turf into a very Closer favoring Flow. Note that his lone synthetic sprint, three back in the debut, was a useful closing run while very wide on a track that was playing kindly to speed. 'B-Off' adds to the appeal, if you like that sort of thing.

I just saw an article featuring 2-year-olds sired by the 1996 Kentucky Derby winner Grindstone who now stands in Oregon for $2,500.

How did a Derby winner sired by Unbridled end up in in Oregon for a bottom of the barrel stud fee?

Unbridled is undoubtedly the greatest extension of Mr. Prospector via his sire Fappiano. He like his grandsire Mr. Prospector sired a winner of each leg of the Triple Crown i.e., Grindstone, Red Bullet and Empire Maker. He also has the distinction of being broodmare sire of winners of two legs of the Triple Crown i.e., Orb and Shackleford.

It is inconceivable that a son of the great Unbridled who is grandsire of Derby winner Mine That Bird and Belmont winner Summer Bird, has been banished to Oregon for a mere $2500.

If the Kentucky Derby is the greatest race in the world, surely its winners deserve more respect especially when one such winner was sired by the greatest extension of mega sire of sires Mr. Prospector.

This writer seems to have forgotten that Woodbine has a 12f turf course, so 8f-9f races are one turn. The difference between one-turn miles and 2-turn ones can be significant for some horses - we all know of Belmont main-track specialists. If a horse's only good run at the distance is in a one-turn race, there is good reason to oppose it around two turns. Just sayin'. No opinion on this or any race this weekend. Bad bug knocked me out this week.

Why I wont play Hyper to win is because his last race was 20 days ago, and although he probably wont win he is 8 for 8 in the money this year and I think they are running him so soon because he will definitely get a piece and they hope that at 6 years of age he is a lot better than this field and can win back after only 20 days.

This has proven to be a contra indicator so eventhough Hyper is out in 11 he has time to drop over to the rail and he is a closer so if he can save ground and move into contention at the right time he is very usable in the exotics.
