BTW I didnt play Derby futures last year 2013 and if I dont win this year I might not play next year and just keep my profit in my pocket until another wagering proposition comes along that gives me a better chance.

I dont just play this for fun,Im in it to make something like Churchill Downs is.

Another comment on Derby Futures,I used to think it was easy when I won in 2009,2010 and 2012 but back then my strategy was easier to play because the graded earnings list was an easier road to the gate than the points system.I think they know this and have made it harder to win.In the future they need to do the opposite make it easier to win or competition from Vegas and parts unknown will take money away from Churchill in these future bets.Of course they own the rights so they could monopolize the bet,but that dosent work as I have seen in South Florida when the tracks thought they had an oligopoly, before the Lottery and simulcasting came along.Believe me someone will come along with something new they always do.

BTW I was thinking about adding Noble Moon who has points in all 5 dosage categories including professional,but Im not sure he is sound and will continue on the Derby trail,he has ten points already.In the Kentucky Derby if he runs Noble Moon will probably stalk the pacesetters instead of being the front runner like Cairo Prince that is as long as he isnt forced to break fast such as he would drawing the one two hole or the 19 or 20 post.

Shared Belief is good but Im not sure he is sound or will procede on to Kentucky.As far as Top Billing he has 10 points for a 3rd place finish but I think the media is overhyping him,could it be that Shugs horse won last year.

I already have General A Rod and Wildcat Red with Conquest Titan as well as others that are in the top 23 this week,that were all others in pool 2 of derby Futures.GL

Just added more combinations to the ones that I started with in Derby futures 2 which was an exacta box of Commissioner,Conquest Titan and all others.In this weeks Derby futures I added 3 more boxes one with Conquest Titan, Strong Mandate and Tamarando,one with Conquest Titan and Bayern and one with Conquest Titan and all others.

I also keyed Cairo Prince in 1st and 2nd with Conquest Titan,Honor Code,Strong Mandate,Tamarando and all others.

Before the last Derby futures I need to get some of these picks in the gate, by them earning enough points in the next 4 weeks when the last Derby futures will be on the board.

Dont count out Commissioner yet, he could resurface in New York or Arkansas in five weeks.
