May I add my congrats on the new grandchild; may he enjoy many happy days like this at Saratoga. I opted out of a Saratoga trip because I feared missed Amtrak connections such as this! Great to know the Sackatoga gang is back in the winners' circle.

After the now-famous ARRR(R) call, and then taking on Calloway classics, Mr Durkin has once again proven himself to be a gem of inestimable worth. We need to bottle his calls, just to let them out a bit at a time when things get yucky, the tracks are mud covered, and we all wish for an afternoon at the Spa........

I love 'Saratoga Diary.' The sounds, the smell and feel of the place, each day as they come and go, are a huge treat. First rate writing and reporting. Keep it up.
