On Saturday's NBC telecast, I noticed that Tom Hammonds kept referring to Saratoga as "The Graveyard of Champions". I had always thought the moniker was "The Graveyard of Favorites". Which is correct ?

In a heatwave like this you have to be a real die hard fan to stay the duration of the card especially if you haven't been cashing winners. It's Tricky and Plum Pretty gave the fans that did stay an exciting stretch battle in the Oaks. By contast the finish in the Eddie Read at Delmar was anti-climatic.
