Enrich your spirit with the first annals of horseracing. Take the train and arrive at the station where murals of racing imbedded in brick greet you. Take a cab through the hills and view the wood springs, and hold tight the rail at Saratoga track. If you never saw Seabiscuit and all of the old legends, you will. Their spirits are there. The wind in the trees at Saratoga will fill your ears with the sound of thunder down the racetrack to the finish line. If you've never been to Saratoga -simply "go" to find your heart in horseracing.

It would seem you may be onto something with the top graded stakes being run earlier in the day, they have no problem dealing with that scenerio in Europe, maybe we should consider doing the same thing.

BTW did everyone get a chance to see Frankel demolish that Sussex field, that was really something special.

I think the BC committee is aware Belmont Park can host the championships as good as anybody but tend to favor Santa Anita because the weather there is generally more favorable in November. What a great story it would make if Frankel was successful at the BC this November.
