Giant Surprise suffered a condylar fracture of his left front foot. He is having surgery. It's possible that he may race again. Time will tell. But are they really the same after undergoing a surgical procedure? Maybe not.

Vic, even a yucky weather day and so-so racing is a great day to be at the Spa! Today sounds absolutely spectacular, and I wish I could have been there. After living in Connecticut for so many years and being able to shoot over to Saratoga on a whim, this living in Virginia and being SO far away really stinks. There's one saving grace, though: I can be at Keeneland in only five hours, so I'll just have to suffer at my second favorite racing venue...........
