It didn't, but there was a lot for the fans to enjoy anyway.

re: All in a Day's Rain

Music Note made Saratoga for me! There have been lots and lots of wonderful winners but this filly is really special to me so i got very excited as she surged ahead!!!! She got a very loud YESSSS as she careered past the post well clear of her talented but toiling rivals!!!!!!!! Music Note is back!!!!!

My other favourite from last year Cocoa Beach ran bravely on ground she appeared to dislike! Both she and Rutherienne showed very willing attitudes in defeat! I love Peintre Celebre so was pleased his pretty daughter Salve Regina triumphed!

Summer Bird was fantastic and it was a marvelous and deserved triumph for him and his team!

Delighted Malibu Moon's talented daughter Sarah Louise won for Godolphin too!

Vineyard Haven veered away from a rather vicious whipping! And who can blame him? Had he been ridden properly without undue recourse to the whip I am sure he would have won fair and square! But I love Captain Candyman Can too and he was brave as well!

Spare a thought for the ponies and their riders, also the stall handlers who have to endure any appalling conditions but with no hope of glory!!!!

Thanks for your entertaining Diary!

God Bless

Best Wishes

Abbie
