150 dollars is too much for an license ID, that's why people wont be getting them. Its not all about the need for two photo ID cards.

But still the lawyer must have very little experience to push something like that. Or it's a friend of a friend needing some work to do fresh out of school.

Maybe if KHRC dropped the cost of the counsel they hired then the license fee can get back to a hundred bucks or less like other states'. Can you belive it went to a hundred fifty? C r i m e.

Very insightful article, I was wondering why no one was showing up at Keeneland this year. The KHRC needs a counsel with a higher speed figure.

More confirmation of what I've always believed. Racing has lots of problems but number one is the interference in the sport by government (particular state government) which doesn't care one whit whether or not racing, and the people involved in it, are successful and prosperous. [Government only cares how much money they can squeeze out of the sport without giving anything back.]
