Do you think he had 6f/7f-limited horses like Henny Hughes (the name of his 3rd dam Short Winded says it all) in mind? No, he went for classic-quality horses like Sir Gallahad III, Nasrullah, and Le Fabuleux. Think he would have bred to (much less stood) an unsound horse like Ghostzapper? &amp;#39;Best&amp;#39; is a subjective judgment and involves more than winning a few high-class races or having the &amp;#39;right&amp;#39; pedigree.&lt;/p&gt;
