I love Penny Chenery's message regarding making websites and making a horse available to fans(the world actually) plus sending out emails, etc.

This is great!

Trainer, John Sheriffs, made Zenyatta available to the fans, and I loved it. Love her website, too, plus the bronze statue that I saw in the Bloodhorse magazine and website. In actuality, I expected more photos of it.

I also love to see the new babies especially Zenyatta's baby and Rachel's baby. They are so cute.

Hopefully the horse racing industry takes it serious regarding her messages. Different fans want different things. We are not all alike.

Lots of fans "fall in love" (I fell in love with Barbaro even though I never met him) with these horses and enjoy seeing photos of them in different poses, love to have their picture taken with them, want to touch them and kiss them, love to see their babies, etc, etc, etc.

Thank you!

She is the queen of horse racing and has been for almost 40 years. She has done her part to promote racing.

Now it's time for the tracks to do the same. Very seldom do they have anything special for the fans. I always thought that giving away instance cash vochers with a bet would be nice. Maybe $20 - $100 every now and then at each track. At least the fan has something to look forward too.

But no, everything is geared toward the owners, trainers, and jockeys. For a $1,000,000 race the owner gets $600,000 and the trainer and jockey get $60,000 each. Nothing for the fans.

Ever since the $.10 superfecta came along, winning prices have come down. No more big super prices or even an"all" or "all-all" finishes. Now they have $.50 tri's pick-3 and pick-4. Not like the old days when you could actually win something nice. I'm done with horse racing, I'll just bet football games where I have a 50/50 chance at winning.
