This industry's leadership is a joke. We missed the importance of television, we missed the first wave of the internet generation and now we're squandering our exclusivity on online gaming.

The NTRA is a joke, the TRA is a joke, the Jockey Club is a joke. Nowhere do you see anyone who truly understands the issues that face us or how to align change to the opportunities we have.

Like the nation, this industry needs a fresh perspective. Those in leadership now lack the "kahoneys" to face the old boy network and get anything positive implemented.

People get the idea that racing is just a bunch of rich people from the fact that the only so called leaders they see are just that. The fact that that these same these people are out of touch is demonstrated by racings collective failure to achieve any consensus on adw disuputes. We have the only legal form of internet gambling in the nation and instead of focusing all of our efforts on promoting it is beyond me. These same people have forgotten the basis of the whole business which is in fact GAMBLING!!!! We act as though that is something to be ashamed of instead of embracing and focusing all of our marketing efforts on internet gambling. How do we reach new young fans? Wake up! Young people do everything on computers!!! I love this game but a couple of generations have gone by without even knowing that racing exists.
