Maybe if the Industry made that date a Law it might give the owners an incentive to "Allow" their babies a couple of extra months to grow up before starting their training ???

I do like Jean Lambs idea of incentive money for older racing.

Maybe there could be some kind of a Structured purse according to age ??? Something like...

$250,000 Maximums for 2 Year olds (Excluding the Breeders cup).

$500,000 Maximums for 3 Year olds (Excluding the Triple Crown).

And the sky's the limit for 4 Year olds and Up ???

For the last two days at Nad al Sheba there has not been one horse racing under the age of 4 and that had been so refreshing! It has been great to see 9 year olds and 7 year olds winning big races!!!! What a pity more there are not more race meetings like that!!!

God Bless

Bet wishes

Kudos to everyone who had a hand in this stimulus pkg. As far as racing young horses (Jean Lamb/2 yr olds) they are and always will be an integral part of the racing scene and I am sure that the same vets who shake their heads in dismay have no problem treating them or sending out any of the associated billing thereafter.

Up here in Ohio where the industry is dying because nobody wants to take the lead, we have the "Best Of Ohio Day". But, these days it's more so like the "What's Left Of Ohio Day".
