Racing is just a by product to racinos. Look at Ohio, they are moving there racetracks from Toledo and Columbus, larger markets, to smaller market, in Youngstown and Dayton, so video terminals don't have to compete with cacinos. Horseman's organizations should be working on plans to keep racing in front and center of entertainment instead of fighting every drug issue that comes along. If racing dosn't get more popular it is easier for the politians to to take the horsemens cut for the state, is that what happen at Woodbine. There is an out cry if a foot ball team moves, a yawn if a track closes. This is an industry with no urgency or plan, go figure.
