I loved "Big Hearts".

I am a second generation thoroughbred horse owner and am currently actively involved in racing in New York. I too am passionate about our horses and about stopping the slaughter of our beautiful horses once their career is ended at the track. Please see my website www.hillsidefoundation.org. We believe we have a method to stop horse slaughter for human consumption that has never been tried before and has a real chance of suceeding. The other methods will never work due to politics and money.

The ND Horse Park with ND State Univer.Equine center opened their unused barns/stalls for flooded out horse farms. The area Fairgrounds has space for pets & horses. People who care help each other!

I truly cannot imagine another sport that involves so many outstanding examples of pure character than those involved in the Thoroughbred Horse Field. I know why i keep up with all things "Horse" as it just seems a natural thing to do when the marvel of it all comes together in one beautiful frame. Long live the sport and all those who care and contribute in any way to its way of life.

Another example is when Mike Rhea (trainer) was injured at Fair Hill training center. Sally Goswell and Sheilagh Barndollar took the bull by the horns and raised $20,000 to help him out.
