Actually, the majority of students have been taught there are seven continents, and even if that number were six (some hold that Europe and Asia are actually ONE called Eurasia), North and South American would still be TWO. Whether 6 or 7, Animal Kingdom is still a horse for the world, and along with SOUTHBENDFARM, I wish we were not so quick to sell what is so desperately needed in the US.......a horse with a truly unique pedigree. I'd LOVE to see him stand where he's available to more US breeders, as the American TB is in fairly sad shape these days.

I wish Animal Kingdom and his connections well, and safe trips on any continent. He's a joy to see! My only request would be that we be allowed to see him run at whatever inconvenient time it is in the States. I went nuts trying to see Black Caviar run her last race LIVE, but had to settle for TVG that morning. BLAH!! t

you forgot pilsudski. breeders cup turf, japan cup and numerous group 1s in europe. I hope the americans continue to follow the fortunes of animal kimgdom. it is not often a horse comes along that is equally at home on dirt, turf and tapeta. a truly unique animal.

Jorge G: Europeans have only 5 continents and "America" is both North and South.

North Americans and Australians have 7 continentns: Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, Antartica and NORTH America and SOUTH America.

That's why the Olympic flag with the 5 rings is confusing to us.

(Although lots of things are confusing to us. Yay! for the grandparents from Europe who taught us the world is bigger than us.)

It is too bad that Animal Kingdom missed so much time as on dirt, grass, synthetic, he is a monster. Would love to (longshot) see them postpone him going to stud and sending him to the BC Classic this year however he'll be at stud by then. Love the horse so much.

Whaat?? Uruguay is in the AMERICAN CONTINENT, the same continent of the USA my friend. He only won in TWO continents!!! Geez....Hahaha unbelievable!!!!

Please correct me if I am wrong....but I have heard Animal Kingdom (A.K.) will most likely go to stud in Austraila for the southern hemisphere breeding season, and then was supposed to come back to KY for the northern hemisphere season. Has something changed? Is he no longer going to be available to US breeders? If not, there goes another stamina influence that our breed is in desparate need of. The German blood in A.K. is sorely needed here in the USA. Hopefully he is coming to America.
