Like Rambling Officer (above) I'm also a (heartbroken!) past part-owner of Ready's Rocket. I actually cried like a baby when Rocket was taken from Tim and ended up at Penn. The two guys running the partnership got greedy, it seems.

Thank you for your wonderful story on Readys Rocket. I have been a great fan of his for 3 years since Mr Glyshaw originally claimed him for a partnership I belonged to. There is only one thing I would add. Mr Glyshaw is much too modest. Yes its true that Rocket loves CD and thrives on Calvin Borel. But an equal measure of the credit also belongs to Mr Glyshaw and his dedicated crew. They rescued Rocket from total obscurity and brought out the best in him. What an impressive job they have done together with Calvin with him. Its always a pleasure to watch them in action.

great story. its good to hear about the bread & butter type horses that make up the daily race cards, at so many tracks . if it want for these horses, there would be any horse racing. and if we didnt have the bread & butter type trainers,who are horseman enough to keep them going back day after day. these type of horseman, spend more time setting under these horse ,working on their legs. than they do poseing for pictures,& talking to the press. SALUTE TO THE HORSEMAN
