Only tww votes prevented Georgia residents from getting the chance in 2016 to vote on a constitutional amendment to legalize pari-mutuel wagering, an issue that polls
suggest a strong majority support.

Advocates of pari-mutuel wagering in the Peach State believe a high-class racetrack in the Atlanta metro area with a boutique meet can be a success, without alternative gaming.
