Roger Heitzmann III uses his pedigree well in Louisiana

GIVEN THE DNA imprint of Roger Heitzmann III, the chances of him becoming a post-office clerk were 400,000-1. Every generational branch in Heitzmann’s family tree pointed to a lineage of horsemen. With those deep roots, Heitzmann’s evolution into his present position as secretary-treasurer of the Louisiana Thoroughbred Breeders Association is not a longshot surprise.
