For those of you who have been regular readers and interactive members of Triple Crown Talk, I thank you. The blog has ended for the year, but will return in January when we begin taking a closer look at the contenders for the 2009 Kentucky Derby.

For now, please join me on Breeders' Cup Chat, where we will delve into the second half of the racing season. The content on Breeders' Cup Chat will closely resemble that of Triple Crown Talk, with handicapping, Q & A features, top 10 lists and much more. Here is the first post.

I look forward to blogging with everyone!

I wish I wasnt so interested in Curlin, I would really like to go fishing instead this weekend but the suspense is eating me up. Go watch Curlin or go fishin. Maybe I can do both! Hmmmm.

Bellwether I'll stick my neck out and say YES Curlin has a turf foot! He'd run good on anything but I hope he moves up on turf.Clay watch Curlin, you can go fishing anytime.

I will skip all activities on sat. and watch Curlin :)I was hoping to see him life in Arlington, but I guess TV relation from Belmont will do...I'm a big fan of Big Brown, but I will be more than happy to see Curlin win as well :-)

Best to all racing fans!

i think a lot more people(new blood too!) know Curlin is going to race this weekend @ Belmont Park & that is why ESPN is putting it on the air...sweetness to them for the EXPOSURE!!!LLTK...ps...i'm pulling for Graham & The Old Man...hope all come home safe...stand by Wanda as looks like Curlin maybe a FREAK!!!

Bellwether 10 Jul 2008 2:31 AM

I think he could win on the bowling alley parking lot. Bring back Bernardini!!!!

goer89 10 Jul 2008 9:03 AM

I could be at a horse show, but a horse like Curlin doesn't come along too often so I'll be glued to the TV as well.  I can show horses anytime.  It is a joy to watch him run, and he is what this sport needs.  GO BIG BOY CURLIN! I'm so excited!

Good luck to all those betting this weekend.  May you not rip up any tickets!

I'm the same as you Bellwether a huge "old man" fan. What a race,Red Rocks should make it interesting .I won't be able to see it even on TV but I'll catch it after I get home on this website.Thank god for Bloodhorse.com!

Amen to Blood-Horse & ESPN...

Bellwether 11 Jul 2008 5:16 AM

Wow can you believe Red rocks paid 14$ to win? Curlin ran a huge race and they say he broke a step slow, and my fav old man ran 3rd.Three BC winners in one race. You don't see that every day.Anybody see it live or at least on TV? Give me a run down on the race please.

Wanda 12 Jul 2008 8:31 PM

missed it but video is on B-H...i think he should stick to DIRT...MR.Jess is looking for the next JOHN HENRY...good luck...Long Live The Dirt!!!

I am very interested to see how Big Brown will do in The BCC. After having his right hind foot steped on by Guadilcanal right out of the starting gate it's a wonder he made it as far as he did!. So far his workout's have been off the chart's and he seem's to be right on target for another HUGE performance.
